A top down maze style game in which the player runs around pushing buttons while avoiding the monsters throughout the level. The object of the game is to stay alive as long as possible while collecting points. When a player presses a colored button the background will change to that color. All monsters of the same color will be killed and all walls of the same color will disappear and become inactive, changing the layout of a level each time a button is pushed.

PS: Music evolves as you play! Headphones recommended!

Technology used

Multimedia Fusion, sfxr, Ableton Live, Photoshop, colored pencils and paper

Help / Controls

Movement: W- up A- left S- down D- right

Firearm: Aim- mouse, Fire- left mouse button

Bomb: Drop- space bar, You can kick the bombs

Pause- Enter

Objective: Stay alive as long as possible. Kill enemies and collect pick ups to gain extra points. Push buttons to change the background color, killing all like colored enemies and hiding like colored walls of the maze. A survival game with an ever changing RAINBOW environment ;)


Enemies get faster and deadlier the longer they live.

Use bombs to blow up walls or blow up enemies.

Buggers are the fastest. Ghosts move through like colored walls. Demons move through all walls.

    Thanks! We're currently working on developing it as a possible web release, but as you noted, the graphics definitely need some work :P

    So far we've added a pulse effect timed to the music, improved enemy AI and coin dispersal and added a few powerups. We're hoping to add a lot more, including a more professional color palette ;)

    Very nice idea. One of the few games so far that actually made me feel the urge to replay them to get better. It would make a good small game if it was polished a bit more. It's rather hard on the eyes, so if you plan to develop it further maybe consider changing the colors to less saturated.
